The Return of the Pushcart!!

So I commissioned Chris Ucciardino, a very talented carpenter, to build us a prototype "pushcart" that can be rented to vendors on a daily, weekend or full-time basis. Chris and I looked online for all sorts of models, and he came up with one of his own design that is not only pleasing to look at, but very utilitarian. We have designed these carts to be moved around the market, both inside and outside, and they have lots of storage and display space. The prototype is still bare wood, but the finished product will have a blackboard front, to display the current vendor's name, and the balance will have a wood stain.

Four carts should be ready for rental by Thanksgiving -- if you're interested in renting one (or buying one directly from Chris), give us a call!

The front panel will be a blackboard. The top shelves are removable. They were designed to accomodate handbags and jewelry stands.

Lots of storage on either side
