The Market sustained virtually no damages in the storm -- a vent cap blew off on the roof, but was easily retrieved and replaced -- and we are open for business as usual starting today!
We spent the weekend preparing 450 Halloween Candy bags for the kids of PS 257 (with help from my niece Emily), but with school closed today, we hope that Halloween is "rescheduled" for Friday so we can give it away before I eat it all myself!
In the meantime, come by and enjoy the Market, and meet our new vendor, Jose Colon, of All Star Cuts, a new unisex hair salon. He's done a major renovation of his space and it looks great!
