We are pleased to report that we have attracted a real live farmer to Moore Street Market!!
Today, we welcome Nevin Curtin from Nevins Farm in Pleasant Valley, New York. Ms. Curtin will be selling gourmet dried fruits and nuts, honey, olive oil and herbs from one of the new center stalls.
She is doing this on a trial basis, so please make her feel welcome -- in other words, buy her stuff! -- and maybe she'll be the first of many farmers to set up shop here.
Lots to report later!

Some New Pictures!!!
Finally! Some new pictures to post of the construction project. The construction wall came down this week on the new stalls, Number 24 and 25, located in the center of the market. The security gates are not installed yet, but the configuration is now clearly visible. Once the stalls are finished, we will add tables and chairs to the public area and we will be ready for tenants!
We are now thinking of having a competition for the 6 stalls that are becoming available, to get the very best vendors we can. Stay tuned for more information. In the meantime, take a look at the new spaces.
We have experimented with paint for the tiles and have found the perfect way to cover the ancient orange and white tiles! Expect a lovely coat of light-illuminating pearl gray to be going on in the next few weeks.
Hope you all had a lovely Fourth of July!
We have a great event coming up in the market on July 18th -- look for another post early next week with details.
Stay cool!
